Landscape Ideas for 2012 - February 6, 2012
Now that February is here and soon the weather will be turning warmer and Spring will be upon us, it's time to start thinking about landscape design ideas for 2012.

"The Gothic Garden:"

Dark shades of plants and flowers such as black pansies, roses, lilies, tulips, violets, morning-glories and cacti can create a gothic theme in your backyard. Another hot gardening trend is creating a garden with "Inner Peace:"
This year create a backyard living space that is dedicated to YOU! Inner Peace is always encouraged and there's not better place to find inner peace than in the confort of your own backyard. Create a garden space that has comfortable seating like low wooden logs, stone arrangements, a hammock or even a custom fire pit where you can sit and enjoy a book and a glass of wine. Large beds of tulips, sunflowers, daisies and roses can become the centerpiece of your backyard experience. Sprinkle in some exotic plants like bonsai trees, tiger lilies or yuccas to add texture and depth to your garden. Even certain species of mushrooms can add a nice visual element to your garden.
