"Fire Pits" are the new "Black" - April 5, 2011As I'm sitting here reading this article published by Pegasus New out of Dallas, then reposted/syndicated by Yahoo News, on how Fire Pits are the new restaurant must have, when the phone rings. It's a contractor out of Boston who was searching the Internet and came across our website Warming Trends who is inquiring about our fire pit systems. Turns out he is working on restaurant and they are interested in a fire pit for their patio. BINGO! The article I was reading stated how fire pits are latest craze for restaurants and resorts around the country, especially in states like Texas and California where the evening temperatures are moderate and perfect for outdoor entertaining with the warm glow from a fire pit adorning their patio. The article emphasized, and I have to agree with this statement, that there is something more nostalgic and aesthetic about fire pits than the functional purpose of staying warm. Fire pits remind people of their first camping experience, the high school days of building a fire on the beach, or in the woods and hanging out with friends, or maybe it's the innate reminder of our ancestral roots when cave men advanced with the assistance of making and controlling fire. Either way, it's a great article and I encourage any and all future restaurateurs and contractors to take a peek at this article: http://tinyurl.com/43p5c6b, and then come visit us at Warming-Trends.com for all your fire pit inquiries and we'd be happy to answer any questions you may have on outdoor burning systems.
